A Patient's Inspiring Story

We have one very inspiring patient who came into our program at age 32 from a local village and had become severely addicted and it affected his physical and mental well-being as well as his relationship with his family. He went through a customized detoxification process as part of our services, which included daily counseling sessions, yoga and other lifestyle changes. The greatest barrier to his progress was emotional stability; however, due to the continuous support and guidance provided by our staff he began to regain self-confidence.

In short order, he became more positive about interacting with people around him, and took a greater role in the various group therapy activities. We were thrilled to hear how happy he made his family feel with the significant change we saw in him during this time. He completed 90 days of our treatment program, and when he left he was mentally stronger, physically healthier, and had decided he would never again go back to substance use. Currently he is working in a private business and frequently comes to visit our facility so that he can share his success story and inspire some of the new patients in our programs.
